What is the best brand of PEX AL PEX tubing to use for Radiant floor heat?
I found all kinds of different brands of Pex AL Pex. But don’t want to save a bunch of money just to find out I purchased the wrong brand. Which is best? Rifeng? Everhot? Mr. Pex? Watts Radiant? RHT?
I’m not sure if anyone has read your whole question. You are looking for info on Pex-Al-Pex. There is no Everhot PAP yet. There is no significant difference on the performance of the tubing between manufactures. Look for price and warranty.
Watts Radiant provides a 25 year parts & labor “Replacement” warranty. Which means that if the tubing fails in 25 years, they will pay the costs to replace the tubing. If that is in a concrete slab, that acts as an insurance policy. Also check warranties closely. Watts does NOT require the installer to be “trained”, only to install to their readily available installation manual. Watts is also a 100 year old multi-national company backing up that warranty.
